With our reported issues last week where a number of people had access issues it was good to see no problems occurring this weekend.

Both the Dunfermline and Queen of the South streams ran fine without issues. Primarily because we removed the Heartbeat monitor software which we had implemented the previous week.

WIth last week`s stream for Dunfermline, despite the issues, we still managed a high data download of almost 3TB`s (3,000 GB), as much as our previous busiest stream.
We apologise to those viewers who had issues.

We understand it`s a fine line managing access and blocking pirates, spammers and hackers so we will be more careful in future. However it is on us to manage these issues to tackle attempted break-ins to ensure our users get the best service.

Our software checks for break-in attempts and automatically places that IP on a ban/check list preventing multiple break-in attempts.
In case you may ask, it is indeed a huge problem.
