What is a VPN ? Worried about security and hackers gaining access to your computer ? Using a virtual private network (VPN) is usually (ALWAYS) a good idea, especially if you frequent public Wi-Fi. By encrypting your Wi-Fi connection, a VPN protects your communications from invasive eyes and plays a vital role in your overall digital defense.

Network Connectivity

The preffered network connection will be a direct wired broadband connection, fibre if available.

However, a normal broadband connection should be sufficient. It is possible to use a mobile dongle, in some places. Mobile dongle may well be sufficient where games are played behind closed doors as the upload speed will not be impacted by the number of spectators.

For example, while ParsTV attended Buckie Thistle`s stadium in 2016 and 2017 they achieved a very high upload and download speed, using an EE mobile dongle, that was suitable for live streaming, 63Mbps download and 33 Mbps upload speeds.

Thanks to ParsTV for the use of the image.
