Use legitimate sources for live streaming events

Are you confident enough to pass your personal details to unknown operators of pirate streams ?

If you are caught out, will you report it to the police or will you be too embarassed.
From the FACT article (linked below) they state that you do not know whether the links are controlled by criminals.

Consumers also need to be aware that when clicking on illegal links criminals can be gaining access to your personal and financial data, which then can be used to set up other fraudulent websites in your name, as well as putting malware on your device.

Only last year, three individuals were jailed for 17 years for defrauding a sporting fixture, by providing illegal access to more than 1,000 pubs, clubs, and homes throughout England and Wales.


On issues closer to home, we understand that people sometimes can`t afford to pay for a stream but that doesn`t mean you have to copy the stream and forward it to others and charge for it at the same time.

SFO take this activity seriously and report it to the relevant authorities.

ScottishFootball.online are aware of facebook groups illegally using copies of streams and then forwarding them. This is piracy.

These groups blantantly state they will purchase a stream from the opposition and then re-stream it to their own fans, thus defrauding the home club of much needed revenue. They also clearly state they will not do this for streams of their own club.

A Hearts fan has already been reprimanded, with his season ticket removed, in January 2021 of illegally streaming live matches, [ Hearts TV update ].
